Using apps to easily buy and sell used goods has become very common.

중고품 거래를 쉽게 할 수 있는 앱 사용이 매우 보편화되었다.

Statistics show that roughly a quarter of all Koreans use these apps.

우리나라 인구 4명 중 1명 꼴로 이러한 앱을 사용하고 있다는 통계도 있다.

In the past, people just threw away items that they didn't need.

예전에는 필요 없는 물건을 그냥 버리기만 했었다.

 

▶return something for a fund 을 반품하여 환불을 받다

Now, people can use apps to sell items that they don't use, or that they can't return for a refund.

이제는 더 이상 사용하지 않거나, 반품이 되지 않는 물건을 이러한 앱을 통해 판매할 수 있다.

 

You can't return it for a refund without a receipt.

영수증이 없으면 환불을 받을 수 없다.

The buyer can get a good price, and the seller can earn a profit, so it's a win-win.

사는 사람은 물건을 싸게 살 수 있고, 파는 사람은 수입이 생겨서 서로에게 이득이다.

Since the seller is just a stone's throw away, peope can meet in person for a sale.

판매자가 가까운 거리에 있기 때문에 직접 만나서 거래를 할 수 있다.
